Michael Ratner, Esq., is president of the Center for Constitutional Rights and aggressively challenges the constitutional and international-law violations of the United States government after 9/11. He serves as co-counsel in Rasul v. Bush, the historic Guantánamo detainees case currently before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is co-author of the forthcoming Guantánamo: What the World Should Know (Chelsea Green Publishing). Over the years, Ratner has litigated a dozen cases challenging a president’s authority to go to war without congressional approval.
