Prof. Thomas Ryba, Ph.D.

Thomas Ryba, Ph.D., is Notre Dame Theologian-in-Residence at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center at Purdue University, where he is also Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Adjunct Professor of Jewish Studies. Ryba holds degrees in the history and literature of religions from Northwestern University. He has authored over 30 articles on theology, philosophical theology, and theories of religion, and in May 2004 became North American editor of the journal Religion. He is principal editor of The Comity and Grace of Method (Northwestern, 2003), and is at work on a book on the thought of John Henry Cardinal Newman.
